Project 1: _dnn-manager
DNN Manager
A desktop app that creates local DNN sites in one step and manages every IIS site from one window.

overview
DNN Manager is a desktop app for DNN (DotNetNuke) developers. Setting up a local DNN site by hand means downloading a release, creating an IIS site and app pool, setting folder permissions, creating a database and clicking through the install wizard. DNN Manager does all of that in one step, and removing a project takes its IIS site, folder and database with it.
It is a WPF app on .NET 10, laid out as Clean Architecture: use cases reach IIS, SQL Server, Docker and the file system through interfaces, so the domain and application layers stay free of WPF and infrastructure code.
highlights
- A new DNN site in one click, signed in as the host account without the install wizard
- Every IIS site in one live table with status, CPU, memory, DNN version and database
- Keep warm, so sites never fall asleep, and import, export and clone as .zip + .bacpac
- A VS Code-style bottom panel with live DNN, IIS and Windows logs and terminals
- SQL Server in a Docker container it sets up for you, your own SQL Server or LocalDB
