overview

MadTyping is a Windows command-line tool for League of Legends chat. It lists the .txt and .md files next to it, lets you search and preview them, and types each line into the game chat as a separate message.

Written in Rust with crossterm for the terminal UI and the Windows SendInput API for keyboard input.

highlights

  • Terminal UI with live search, file preview and hot reload
  • Finds the League client or in-game window and uses the right chat shortcut for each
  • Reliable typing through the Win32 SendInput API, cancellable with Esc
